8 Months!!

I’m 8 months old!!!

Firsts:

You had your first Thanksgiving! We hosted at our house – Momma’s first too! You slept through nearly all of the celebration though. Tio Felipe was not very pleased.

Not a fun one, but hopefully and a first and only...Hand Foot and Mouth. Oh yes, that is right. It is a terrible illness that gives you blisters on your hands, feet and mouth and scary high fevers. It was a REALLY long week, but you really did great. I can't imagine how uncomfortable you were and you were really well behaved. We were so lucky to have Grandma come help to take care of you. You are SO loved Griffin!

You took your first trip to the Space Needle. Cousin Jeannette came to town and we spent a day as tourists in Seattle. We went to the Chihuly glass museum, the Space Needle and Pike’s Place Market. You even made a trip to the gum wall!

 

Likes: Sweet Potatoes, Baths and fresh air! We try to get outside as much as possible, but the wet fall and dark evenings make it tough. It’s a special treat to walk to the mailbox for you. J

Dislikes: Bed time, it is a constant battle to get you out of the tub and into your PJ’s. I wish that you could understand that we do it every single night and it’s not going to change buddy.
