6 months!!

I'm 6 months old!!!

Happy 1/2 Birthday!

 

Stats:
Weight: 17lbs 12 oz (50%)
Height: 28 inches (90%!!)
Head: 44 cm (80%)

 

Firsts:

Camping: You took your first camping trip this summer. We headed over the mountains to Leavenworth with your friend Danika, and her mom and dad and our buddy Hagen. You love Hagen! He played with you in the hammock and helped get you ready for our hike! 

Movement: You are moving all over the place! You're so close to crawling it's torturous to watch you try, but it's adorable the way you get up on your knees and then nose dive into the ground and push forward...I'm waiting for the day you give yourself a face rug burn. :)

Food: You tried Avocado on your 6th month b-day! While you ate a little bit of it, you were definitely more interested in the bowl and spoon that what you were ingesting. :)

 

Likes:
Playing the bath:  It's fun to watch you kick and splash your with your hands. You don't mind one bit to splash your own face...or mine for that matter.
Tummy time: it is much more preferred now to being on  your back.

Dislikes:
Diaper changes or getting dressed...it's rather painful for me and I'm getting slightly annoyed at your lack of patience

School: You love Miss Debbie and your friends at school. You giggle in the morning when we arrive and Miss Debbie starts talking to you - it makes me feel great! You are incredibly observant and I can tell you are learning so much from being around all the other babies in your class; it is really exciting to watch.

Sleep: You are a great napper at home, but rarely sleep longer than an hour at school which makes for short play time at night once we are done with work. :( Nigh sleep is going great...you wake at 2am for a feeding still, but are sleeping for about 12 hours 6:30-6:30!
